Interviewing Me:
1. When did you begin to write?
I'm not sure when I first began to write with intent, but the first class I learned that I, myself could create a story if I wanted to, was 1st grade. Now that I think of it... maybe that is, in fact, when I first began to write with intent.. just early stages lol
2. What does writing give back to you?
Writing gives me joy, fulfillment and a sense of magic if I let myself really feel it. Simply put, writing gives me life.
What is your ultimate writing goal?
I want to be able to touch someone's life with something I created. When I was younger, reading helped me to escape when times were less than ideal. Nora Roberts, R.L. Stine, Mary Jo Putney and so many others helped me to travel beyond my reality and live different lives. William Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe instilled a love of poetry taught me that there is beauty in tragedy and pain. If, someday, I could do that for someone else then not only would my dreams have come full circle, but my life would be complete and meaningful.
