Description: Originally believed to be a young man who appeared to be pleasant and kind, Wellick quickly revealed a darker nature that was ultimately not human at all. He attempted to kill Olban, Gareth and Eloise using powers of transformation, environmental altering, mind reading, and deadly portal summoning, but his arrogance and inability to keep his schemes to himself led to his plans all failing.

Relationship: Not likely in one

Parents: spawned from his master, whose identity is currently unknown

Siblings: other spawned minions, their identities are also currently unknown

Residence: wherever his targets go

Status: Deceased

Purpose in the story thus far: The first antagonist in Gareth, Olban and Eloise's mission.

Background thus far/Backstory: He originally claimed to be seeking to collect rings from the dream realms to absorb the lives of others and gain their powers. He initially presented himself as a human adventurer before attacking Olban (with Eloise and Gareth in tow) by transforming into a monster truck. He was defeated by Eloise's childhood friend Bobby, who turned out to not be Bobby at all, but also Wellick in disguise. Bobby/Wellick attempted to lead Olban into a portal within a cave that was actually a deadly trap, a plan that was uncovered before it could succeed. Wellick transformed into a mountain troll in a final attempt to trap Olban and the others in the portal, but Olban succeeding in taking out the portal and Wellick. Before dying, Wellick's true form was revealed to be a demonic monster, and he also taunted the heroes that his master was coming. In Chapter 13 (https://theprose.com/post/458766/chapter-13), Master Stell's intel reveals that Wellick and other minions with distinctive personalities spawned from their currently unidentified master.
