Purpose in the story thus far: Third minion encounter of the nameless one. He was initially an enemy, but is now an ally to the heroes.
Background thus far/Backstory: Wren initially disguised himself as Dr. Connors in an attempt to trap Gareth (with Olban and Eloise in his mind). Wren easily blew his cover and was mocked for being as stupid as the minions that came before him, causing him to angrily transform into a monster. He attempted to read Gareth's mind and destroy it from within, but Gareth's armband protected him and stunned Wren. Gareth, Olban and Eloise cast a binding spell taught to them by Master Stell (also powered by the armband), trapping Wren. The nameless one abandoned Wren, also removing his mind reading/mind destructive powers and most of his memories, but left his shapeshifting/transformation powers intact. Wren's personality altered from evil to purposeless, and he surrendered to the heroes, even after the binding spell malfunctioned. Sensing that Wren was no longer a threat, Gareth advised him of the nameless one's plot of bringing everything back to nothingness, which Wren immediately opposed, stating that the fish and chips from Royal Fisheries were one reason to keep the world intact. Olban, Eloise and Gareth agreed to let Wren join their cause despite some reservations, and Wren took on the form of a young human man to blend in with the team.
