Challenge
Use the title of a book you read or are reading as a prompt to create a poem. Be as creative as possible. The poem doesn't have to relate to the story in the book you chose. Italicize or bold the title of the book where it appears in your poem. At the end of your write or at the comments section, you can include the details of the book (title, author, date of publication) so that others can search for it if they are interested! Have fun!
Collision
Our love was set in stone
From the dawn of breathing
And from the origin of species
Before the kingdom of Heaven was built
And the earth sprinkled with dust
A love so strong and ancient
A marriage between laws unwritten yet
and of animal instinct
When we met it was as if the purpose of our universe was fulfilled
It was the serenity of Heaven
And the beauty of Earth
Colliding
What on Earth happened?
It's the birth of our star
A contained force finally exploded
To feed the rest of the world
Debris from our love.
