Rooms Defined
A room is born when walls are put up.
Corners are born when we decide how much we are willing to put up with.
A wall is built to keep things out.
A room of trust.
Doom or doubt.
Or to keep things in.
What about the fleshly room of our skin?
Rooms filled with wounds hidden beneath the
tombs of our sins.
The many many rooms within.
A room is birthed by walls but defined by doors.
The power to open what is yours to the world.
A room can starve us.
Or spare us from trouble.
We build comfortable rooms in our heads so that we don't crumble.
But we always do.
A room with a window helps us to see things through.
A window may serve as a view of hope.
Or it can be the hole in which we jump to our death.
Corners represent how far we're willing to go.
When the corners begin our imagination ends.
But those whose corners stretch far and wide risk crossing over
to a darker side.
Another life where rooms don't exist.
Where the baleful air rejects God's loving mist.
Where war brings bliss.
And orgasms happen when two bullets kiss.
For strong and healthy walls don't tell at all.
Clean rooms don't smell at all.
A person is but a building of many rooms.
Yeah that's all.
