Heartbreak is like arriving home a few minutes late and the last slice of cake is gone. The "if onlys" have a field day in your head, if only you'd arrived a few minutes earlier. If only you'd paid attention more, if only you didn't raise your voice. Ponder as you might, at the end of the day, the last piece of cake remains gone.
