What makes life worth living?
Is it the possibility of love? Starting a family?
The everlong quest for money and power?
The search for knowledge and discovery?
Leading a good life for a respective deity?
No it can't be those. Can it? Those are just pieces in the puzzle. And what about those who don't follow a religon? What motivates them to lead a good life? Maybe it is their instinctual humanity. But at the core of humanity is selfishness and evil. Worrying about oneself first is how less sophisticated species continue. Is their one right answer to this question? Maybe everyone has their own answer to the question. Some people haven't found their answer to the question and they choose to end the search prior to its end. Life is a complex thing and sentient life even more so. So what makes people want to live?
