Her Future
I was never the same when he came into my room.
An adult friend that i trusted soon became my worst nightmare
Threatened to tell everyone about the pictures
He said that he cared but deep down i knew he didn't care.
A man with a future, a little girl who just lost hers.
Every man she saw sent chills down her spine.
Her boyfriend didn't know why she cried every he tried to hug or hold her.
Every touch against her skin made her flinch and move away.
Night and night he would come in and pay her visits.
Every night taking more and more pictures with his phone and camera.
Every night she laid there, forced to stay quiet so her family wouldn't wake up.
A few times when he visited all she could think about was disappearing forever.
On her wrist were slashes and burns where failed attempts would lie forever
In her stomach was a stampede of pills that made her tired and pain free.
Her body was burnt and cut, thrown off roofs and windows but nothing worked.
I was never the same after i found my fathers hunting cleaver.
One pull across my throat, one dark red painting splattered on my walls and floors.
On the floor laid a child who's future was taken by a man she called her friend.
