Chapter 2 Library

Lilly got up to leave and go to the library to read something about crime. Once Lilly made it to the library she went up to the Librarian to see what they have in crime books.

“Excuse me miss, but do you have any books about crime?” Lilly asked the Librin

“Hold on, let me check” The librarian said while searching on her computer.

“Okay” Lillian said back, looking around the library.

“We do have a whole shelf of crime books, let me take you to them” The librarian said, walking out from behind the counter and walking towards the shelf.

“Okay,Thank you” Lillian said following behind the librarian shortly after

“No problem,” the librarian said.

When they reached the shelf with the crime books the librarian left to go back to her desk. Lilly starts to look at some crime books she could read and she doesn't really find anything that interests her. Lilly turned around and there were some horror books on the shelves behind her. Lilly started to look at some horror books seeing if any of them caught her eye. Lillian found a book that caught her eye; the book was called “IT” . Lillian already watched “IT” but she never read it yet. Lilly has always been into crime and horror books,movies,and shows.

Once Lilly found the book she was going to read for a bit Lilly went to find a table she can sit at and read. Lilly found a table to sit at and start to read. Lily was reading until the library was about to close. Lillian didn’t get up to leave instead she got out her phone and called Olivia.

Lillian: Hey Olivia, do you want to try and stay the night in the library with me?

Olivia: Uhh sure i’d love too bubba

Lillian: Bubba….

Olivia: OH SHi- I AM SO SO SO SORRY LILLY I DIDN'T ME-

Lillian: Its okay Im just shocked that you called me that I kinda liked it though

Wait you like the name Bubba

Olivia: you like me calling you bubba

Lilly: yes I do also get to the library rn

Olivia: Okay i'll be there in 5

Lilly: Alright bye love

Olivia: Bye bubba

I walked to the front of the library to check out my book.

“I like to check this out please” Lilly said to the librarian holding her book up to her chest

“Okay 1 second” the librarian said trying to find something on her desk

The librarian looked up from looking and put her hand to grab the book from lillian.

“Book and Library card please” The librarian said looking at Lillian then at her computer again

“Okay” Lillian said, giving her the book while looking in her pockets for her library card.

Lillian looked through all her pockets but no sign of the library card. Lillian grabbed her wallet from her pocket and started to look through her cards in her wallet. Finally Lillian found her library card. Lillian took the card out of her wallet and handed it to the Librarian.

The librarian grabbed her card and scanned the book and the card.

“Here you go” the librarian said handing Lillian back her book and card

“Your book is due March 13th” the librarian said, still holding out the book and card

“Okay and thank you” Lillian said to the librarian

Lillian left the library and stood off to the side of the glass doors so the librarian couldn’t see her waiting awkwardly at the front of the library.

After Waiting 2 minutes outside of the library Olivia showed up.

“Hi” Lillian said

“Helloooo” Olivia said greeting Lillian with a hug

“I have a plan to stay in the library overnight” Lilly said in a whisper voice so the Librarian couldn’t hear what she was saying.

“Okay. Do I need to talk any in this plan??” Olivia said confused

“No, you don't unless you want to.” Lilly said back “Come on just follow my lead” Lilly also said

“Okay” Olivia said

Lilly started to walk in the library with a concerned look on her face. Lilly walked up to the librarian who was at her desk making everything look nice before she left to close up the library.

“Hey um I left my jacket in here I think can I check if I did?” Lilly asked the librarian

“Oh yea of course you can check just be quick. I'm going to close the library soon. Okay?” The librarian said

“Oh no need to, we'll just take the fire exit if that is okay with you.” Lilly said pointing to Olivia who is standing behind her doing nothing but looking around their surroundings.

“The fire exit… umm yeah that's fine with me” the librarian said looking at both girls.

“Okay thank you miss.” both girls said in sync.

Olivia and Lilly went off wandering the Library to act like they were finding a jacket.
