Innocence
I’ve always tried to be perfect,
I don't know why,
If it's not perfect I have to redo it,
Like my crafts it had to be a perfect crease.
If not it's not right,
I'm going to restart it,
And restart it,
And restart it.
I hate it whens its not perfect,
My room has to be cleaned,
In my specific way,
In my liking.
Sometimes I like cleaning the house,
And make it spotless,
Then clean it up again,
Once my parents messed it up.
I’ve never realizes something,
My childhood innocence,
I don't have it,
Well not anymore.
I use to be careless,
And messy,
But then,
My parents stopped cleaning.
I took over,
Now I clean,
Everything.
Under a mask
Under the mask,
is a kid,
who wishes,
to fit in.
her friends,
being a grounding point,
why cant she be,
left on her own.
and doesn't need,
the comfort,
from her friends,
any longer.
opening up to them,
for the hard times,
where her parents,
are unreliable to tell.
not wanting to eat,
not wanting to live,
not wanting to be a burden,
and wanting to be done.
she lives in a world,
that she struggles in,
its not funny,
anymore.
her thoughts,
keep her awake,
at night,
she's not okay.
school is becoming harder,
she's growing tired,
the smile she fakes,
her life is a joke.
Speech on Hatred
(Happy MLK day I wrote this for my CW class)
Hatred. A thing that we have all pretty much seen especially on social media, but that's also not the only place you can find it, history is a good place to start.
In 1955 Rosa Parks decided to stand up for people of color by sitting in the front of the bus even when a white man told her to move to the back of the bus where most people of color sat, except Rosa didn’t move she sat in the seat and said “no” to the man. Even though she was arrested for doing it she started a bus boycott, and now anybody can sit anywhere on the bus with hardly any problems.
Last year when I was in 7th grade a kid that I will not name for privacy was making fun of my friends for no real reason to, but the only thing that we could make since was being different, for them it wasn’t fair at all of what they had to go through. There’s a pattern that goes on with both of these stories.
Being different is the problem of skin color, having mentally or physical disorders, how people dress, culture, what they are like, and how they act, but those things make people human, and it's not fair to the people who are getting bullied for it.
And the kids who get bullied for this stuff from ignorant people who don’t even get to know them didn’t think about how it could affect the person. Teens who have been victim to bullying self harm rate (20%) along with suicidal thoughts (also 20%). Over 14% of bullied teens have considered suicide and 7% of that 14 has attempted doing it.
Our nation hasn’t learned to accept people for who they are yet, and we need to fix that. But there are so many ways we can fix it, and it can be hard to choose.
One way we can fix world hatred is social media. We can post a lot of things on there about fixing hatred and it would be the easiest way to since everyone has it. It can start by a simple flier telling everyone to join a google meet and we can talk. It doesn't have to be a big community. 10 people can only be interested, and I'll be fine with it. After we talk about it on the meet we can take it to tiktok, and just make a video of just talking about how to stop hatred.

Treatment and discipline
When this generation has kids,
we're probably going to treat them how our parents treated us either really nice or really disrespectful or straight in the middle of both.
The treatment we got,
Gets passed down for generations on end,
It never goes away,
If we didn't get support,
Our kids won’t get the support they need
The punishment with the belt,
Or the switch,
Or just the bare hand.
They pain that we got,
We pass on.
The generational trauma,
It's a vicious cycle.
The years on end ,
Getting beat,
Begging for them to stop.
Every time they raise it,
The trauma fresh in their mind,
They relive it,
But we are the younger version of them.
The tears shedding from our eyes,
The blurry vision,
Unable to see anymore,
They raise it one more time,
The last one always hurts the worst.
The marks all over our body,
Tallies in some places,
Bloody marks in others.
The item.
The trauma.
The tears and blurry vision.
The marks.
Chapter 6 Lunch
After 3 classes it was around 12:00 pm and lunch started at 12:05pm for some reason the teachers let them out early. Lilly made it to the cafeteria first, so she waited for the rest to make it down. Once everyone made it downstairs and to the doors of the cafeteria where Lilly was who was now playing on her phone while she was waiting for them.
“Oh, You guys are finally here” Lilly said, looking up at them while turning her phone off.
“Where are we going to eat?” Alex said.
They went to a school that let them leave for lunch or they could stay. It was their choice.
“How about Mcdonald's” Harley said, it was her favorite fast food place.
“You ask for that everytime, how about Wendy's” Akki said, hoping to get something she wanted
“Or we could split up, get the food we want and come back, '' Olivia said, trying to make a compromise so there isn't an argument.
Everyone nodded their heads and Lilly and Olivia went together and Akki, Harley, and Alex all went together. Lilly got subway and so did Olivia. Akki got wendys, Harley got McDonald's, and Alex also got mcdonalds.
They got back to school and met back up in the cafeteria. Lilly and Olivia were the first ones there since they didn’t walk too far. When the rest of the group showed up Lilly and Olivia was halved way finished with their food
“Damn, what took you guys so long.” Lilly said, staring at them
“Well we walked for a while because we all wanted different things and walked back we only 15 minutes, why?” Alex said, he didn’t talk much but he did a little bit.
“Oh, you took 10 more minutes than us to get here” Olivia said.
Akki, Alex, and Harley all sat down and started to eat until the bell rang indicating to go to their next classes. They all said their goodbyes and left.
Chapter 5
“Can we go see if Alex,Akki, and Harley want to walk with us? Please Lils” Olivia says, dragging out the “s” is Lils.
“Oh, I think I met Akki when I first transferred into your school,” Lilly said.
“Cool, their house is here you stay here imma go get them” Oliva said walking away to knock on the door of their house.
Lilly was watching Olivia walk up and knock on the door, Lilly was pretty confused about Olivia saying “their”. Lilly was watching Olivia until the door opened and there were 3 people? Two were girls and the other was a boy. Lilly had so many questions. Were they polyamorous? Or are they friends?
Olivia was tapping Lilly to try and get her out of her thoughts.
“Lilly, Lilly come on get out of this weird trance thing” Olivia said tapping Lilly until she got out of her trance.
“Huh, sorry I was in my thoughts anyways,Hi” Lilly said to Akki, Harley, and Alex.
“I only know one of you and that's Akki right?” Lilly said, pointing to the darked skinned girl.
“Yeah that’s me, and these are my partners Harley who is pan and she/her pronouns and Alex who is a trans man and he/him pronouns” Akki said.
“Ello” said Alex, a little shy.
“Hi” Said Harley, clearly really tired.
The group all looked at each other for a moment before Olivia spoke.
“This is my girlfriend Lilly and sher/her” Olivia said, introducing Lilly for her.
“We should start walking soon. We don't have a lot of time left to get to school now” Alex said, picking at his hands.
The group of teens started to walk to the school which was down the street where they were having their own little conversations. Lilly was talking to Olivia and Harley, Akki, and Alex were all talking.
The group reached the school after a 5 minute walk and they all parted ways to go to class.
Chapter 4 Bedroom
“Okay, thanks bub.” Olivia says to Lilly fidgeting with their hands.
Lilly left the room, leaving Olivia to pick out some clothes and get ready for school. Olivia walked over Lilly's closet and grabbed a hoodie and some shorts. When Olivia walked out of the closet they took a better look around Lilly’s room.
Lilly’s room had L.E.D lights around her ceiling. They were off recently so it was kinda dark but light. There were some old dolls probably from her childhood that were cute but kinda creepy.
I saw the light switch and flipped it up so it wasn’t as dark anymore. I set the clothes down on Lilly’s bed and decided to get dressed before Lilly came back from getting dressed.
I slowly stripped myself of my t-shirt and jean shorts then put on the hoodie and comfortable shorts I had found. I opened the door to see Lilly standing there waiting for me to finish getting ready.
“You ready to go yet Olive” Lilly asked me.
“Yeah I am Lils” I said back, staring at the long summer dress that she decided to wear. I thought she was cute in it.
I turned off the light, then I grabbed Lilly’s hand ready to go. After I closed her bedroom door we walked back down the stairs and out the front door and we were off to school just like that.
