Watercolor of Myself

I splash my world with streaks of color

canvases of cerulean skies

shaded with tints of purple passion.

My sands are crimson kissed by white foam

turquoise waves wash my world

rejuvenate my wasteland led astray.

dark emotion is swept away

by torrential tears of angst cleansing

joy permeates my face and lightens skin

as sun radiates and embraces my soul.

I open up to blossoming clouds

with free spirit and wide spread arms

watching the budding of all I hold dear.

My self-portrait is drawn with verve

holds plenty of space for all.
