Beyond Picture Perfect

Every day I am reminded by her

That I am special to someone.

Love in a way beyond picture perfect.

And how I was lucky enough to find

This diamond in the rough,

Lord knows girls like these

Are one in a million.

I always think of ways I could be

A better man for her, for she loves me

When I am on top of the world

And when I am deep in woe.

She sees my flaws and builds me up.

And I love her with all of my heart.

When she weeps my heart is crushed

And when she is joyful I am set free.

I want to always be there for her.

Through the smiles, the tears,

And the raging sea of life,

I always want to be with you.

I'll hold you when our children grow

And I'll hold you through the storm

Of a wicked world,

Never letting go of the love between us.

And if you get to the street of gold

Before I do, I will find peace knowing

You are watching me

And that I won't truly die alone.

One day the deed will be done,

I asked for your hand and you said yes,

And my heart bleeds joyfully

Knowing you are the one.
