They tried to stop you, but you didn't listen.

The person that helped you break my heart followed after you

Another ran after you two to stop you, but you didn't stop

Your words went through my ears, I tried to smile to tell you I was okay

When Lapiz comes around, she tells you two to leave me alone

You finally listen and leave to go smoke

Lapiz hugs me tight, speaking soft Spanish words to me

"Amor, I'm so sorry. I heard what happened. Estoy aquí para ti."

Hugging me tight, I close my eyes, feeling safe.
