Challenge
The weapon
Drown Me
I fall for you
And skin my knees,
Then lay at your feet
In the rain.
Icy water drenches
Everything I have laid bare
Before you
While you stand
Above me,
Dry under your
Umbrella.
As the water rises,
You tell me to
Lay on my back
So you can stand on my chest
To keep your feet
From getting wet.
I revel in the weight
But don't notice as
My lungs fill with water.
My body is wracked
With spasms as
I begin to suffocate;
As I am killed
by your
Indifference.
