It’s All In the Details- Chapter One
She was so beautiful, dancing as if she was the only one there. I grinned as she swayed her hips and glanced in my direction. I quickly looked away, not wanting her to think me creepy. As the song ended so did her dance. She gathered a purple purse and moved towards the exit. I zig-zagged through the crowd in order to keep up. Her hair flew through the air, her walk intense, curated. I followed her until we reached the sidewalk, she got on the phone and dialed a number. I could hear it ring once, twice. Someone picked up, for a minute she argued with them, and suddenly she huffed, hanging up. I watched as she moved down the alley.
"This is my chance," I thought. No one was around, just me and her. I chuckled giddily, this is what I had waited for. I noticed she started to walk slower so I ran up and grabbed her quickly.

I remember that it was really hot, but it was still raining. It was summer in Tally after all. I should have taken it all seriously, the reports, but I was naive and stupid.
Back to my story though... I was walking towards my shack of a house after a long day filled with dancing at the club. I could feel my eyes slowly taking longer to open after each blink. I was so dumb, walking home at three in the fucking morning. But my car was broken and my measly paycheck didn't cover the extravagance of fixing it. I grew up with everyone telling me that being a woman meant that I had to be extra careful, but my over-inflated ego made me think I was above this.
They came up behind me, grabbing my waist with their left hand and their right went to my mouth. No chance to scream. I tried to turn, to give myself a fighting chance, but there was no room for me to move. He was pressed up against me, so close that I could feel his dick through his pants pressed on my leg.
I failed to turn my head to look at him so instead I stomped on his foot, I heard a crack as he yelled and let me go. I made the rookie mistake of looking back over running. Giving him a chance to regain his composure and come towards me. I tripped over a rock, I felt myself fall through the air as my arms whirled in the air. I landed on my ass, hard enough to rattle my teeth. His grin was illuminated in the streetlights as he stood over me.
He leaned down, so close I could feel his bad breath on my skin. I coiled back as his fingers wrapped around my neck.
"Up," a single but powerful word. I obeyed.
We walked in the near black for two minutes then he pushed me towards the stairs leading to a house. I made a mental note of the broken shutters to the left and the peeling red paint. These details could save my life...
Once I staggered up the steps into the house he grabbed my phone out of my pocket.
"What the fuck?!" I yelled, but his look shut me up quick. He shoved me down to my knees. I looked straight at the ground, I wasn't stupid, I would fight as hard as I could to resist him. But what I thought would happen next didn't. Instead he walked away with a swagger in his step. As if he was proud of himself.
A pain shot up my spine, my whole body was in shock. I started to shake horribly as the pain persisted. Falling face first I heard yelling and fighting. Then the room got dark.

"No! What are you doing?!" I yelled at Max. Shrugging, he walked into the kitchen. I rushed over to my fallen love hastily. She was coming to as I held her hand softly. As her eyes fluttered open I saw for the first time the color of them, bright blue. I sighed with relaxation.
"What happened, where am I and who the fuck are you?" She asked me. I smiled wide.
"I've brought you home, you are safe now,"
She shook her head, "No, you kidnapped me,"
Gasping, I exclaimed, "I would never hurt you my love, I saved you," I thought this would be easier, I shook my head.
She scoffed, "Then why did you tase me?"
"That was Max," I looked in his direction scornfully as he walked into the room. "I will never hurt you," I repeated.
Max walked into the light and held up a gun, pointing it at my wife. "Don't you dare," i seethed. He rolled his eyes and sauntered out of the living room.
I turned to look at her, to check on her. "How are you?" I asked.
"Fuck you," she spat out at me. I was taken aback, obviously she had been brainwashed.
I tried to reason with her, "Dear, I know it's been a while, but it's me, Jay,"
"Get lost you crazy old man,"
I smiled, obviously she hadn't lost her spark and I fell even more in love with her.
