It’s All In the Details- Chapter One
She was so beautiful, dancing as if she was the only one there. I grinned as she swayed her hips and glanced in my direction. I quickly looked away, not wanting her to think me creepy. As the song ended so did her dance. She gathered a purple purse and moved towards the exit. I zig-zagged through the crowd in order to keep up. Her hair flew through the air, her walk intense, curated. I followed her until we reached the sidewalk, she got on the phone and dialed a number. I could hear it ring once, twice. Someone picked up, for a minute she argued with them, and suddenly she huffed, hanging up. I watched as she moved down the alley.
"This is my chance," I thought. No one was around, just me and her. I chuckled giddily, this is what I had waited for. I noticed she started to walk slower so I ran up and grabbed her quickly.

I remember that it was really hot, but it was still raining. It was summer in Tally after all. I should have taken it all seriously, the reports, but I was naive and stupid.
Back to my story though... I was walking towards my shack of a house after a long day filled with dancing at the club. I could feel my eyes slowly taking longer to open after each blink. I was so dumb, walking home at three in the fucking morning. But my car was broken and my measly paycheck didn't cover the extravagance of fixing it. I grew up with everyone telling me that being a woman meant that I had to be extra careful, but my over-inflated ego made me think I was above this.
They came up behind me, grabbing my waist with their left hand and their right went to my mouth. No chance to scream. I tried to turn, to give myself a fighting chance, but there was no room for me to move. He was pressed up against me, so close that I could feel his dick through his pants pressed on my leg.
I failed to turn my head to look at him so instead I stomped on his foot, I heard a crack as he yelled and let me go. I made the rookie mistake of looking back over running. Giving him a chance to regain his composure and come towards me. I tripped over a rock, I felt myself fall through the air as my arms whirled in the air. I landed on my ass, hard enough to rattle my teeth. His grin was illuminated in the streetlights as he stood over me.
He leaned down, so close I could feel his bad breath on my skin. I coiled back as his fingers wrapped around my neck.
"Up," a single but powerful word. I obeyed.
We walked in the near black for two minutes then he pushed me towards the stairs leading to a house. I made a mental note of the broken shutters to the left and the peeling red paint. These details could save my life...
Once I staggered up the steps into the house he grabbed my phone out of my pocket.
"What the fuck?!" I yelled, but his look shut me up quick. He shoved me down to my knees. I looked straight at the ground, I wasn't stupid, I would fight as hard as I could to resist him. But what I thought would happen next didn't. Instead he walked away with a swagger in his step. As if he was proud of himself.
A pain shot up my spine, my whole body was in shock. I started to shake horribly as the pain persisted. Falling face first I heard yelling and fighting. Then the room got dark.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"No! What are you doing?!" I yelled at Max. Shrugging, he walked into the kitchen. I rushed over to my fallen love hastily. She was coming to as I held her hand softly. As her eyes fluttered open I saw for the first time the color of them, bright blue. I sighed with relaxation.
"What happened, where am I and who the fuck are you?" She asked me. I smiled wide.
"I've brought you home, you are safe now,"
She shook her head, "No, you kidnapped me,"
Gasping, I exclaimed, "I would never hurt you my love, I saved you," I thought this would be easier, I shook my head.
She scoffed, "Then why did you tase me?"
"That was Max," I looked in his direction scornfully as he walked into the room. "I will never hurt you," I repeated.
Max walked into the light and held up a gun, pointing it at my wife. "Don't you dare," i seethed. He rolled his eyes and sauntered out of the living room.
I turned to look at her, to check on her. "How are you?" I asked.
"Fuck you," she spat out at me. I was taken aback, obviously she had been brainwashed.
I tried to reason with her, "Dear, I know it's been a while, but it's me, Jay,"
"Get lost you crazy old man,"
I smiled, obviously she hadn't lost her spark and I fell even more in love with her.

Ohana
"Aunt Bailey!" Katie yelled, hurting my old ears.
"Quietly please Katie," I whispered. She nodded in my direction before she started to run to Bailey.
"Hi, Bean," Bailey greeted Katie.
Katie turned towards me, "Ice cream now?" She whined. I nodded with a sigh. Katie jumped up and down then ran out of the room.
"Slow-" I started to yell after her, but was interrupted with a fit of coughing. Bailey looked at me with worry etched in every line of her face. I shook my head, indicating I was fine.
"How are you May?" She asked tentatively.
"I am perfectly fine thank you very much, enough people worrying, don't need you too," I stated quickly. She smirked as she moved to the one chair in my little room.
"What did the doctor say today?"
"That I need to be here for the rest of my life," I sighed as I exaggerated to her. She shook her head at me.
"Stop it, you will get better," She told me.
"Sure," We sat in silence, her not knowing what to say to a dying woman. Katie ran into the room after a couple minutes with three cups of chocolate ice cream.
"I got the last three!" She exclaimed. I smiled at her when she handed me one. "Ok ok, tell me again,"
I grinned at Bailey, every time we got together Katie asked this. "Are you sure you wanna hear it?" Bailey asked, teasing.
Katie bobbed her head up and down. Bailey asked, "I don't know Katie, I'm tired," as she glanced at me. My grin grew as I played along.
"Yea Bailey is right, I need rest,"
Katie shook her head. "No no, it's our," her face scrunched up, "What's the word again?"
"Tradition," me and Bailey said in unison.
"Yes, that, pleaseeeeeeeee," Katie asked.
Bailey and I looked at each other, she nodded towards me. I took a deep breath and began our story.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Maybella Rumes, mother, friend, and wife. 1995-2019." I read the tombstone out loud to Katie. Her face was streaked with tears, while my eyes stayed bone dry. Katie ran off to be with her father. I thought of how shtoo younge was to have lost her mother.
I knew that May wouldn't live very much longer, but it killed me inside. She was my best friend and now she was gone. Closing my eyes, I thought back to when we met.
How she quite literally ran into me and we were both late for our first jobs. How May and I had lain under the stars on my birthday and she drunkenly said we were Ohana, family.
All those memories and more of how we had become best friends, even through her Progeria. I know that's what killed her in the end, how she was lucky to make it to 25, but I liked to believe that she chose to leave and it wasn't the sickness that did it.
Leaning down to her grave I lay a letter by the wilted roses. I thought of how I needed to bring fresh ones tomorrow.
"We are Ohana, family," I whispered.
My love
He was so handsome. His eyes closed, his tux freshly pressed. I closed my eyes, remembering the time that he had gently pushed my hair out of my eyes as we danced.
I would miss him. But at least he had been mine.
They lowered the corpse into the grave.

Do you remember?
Our love short, like an ember.
Do you even care?
How we were the perfect pair.
Do you still sing it?
But singing without you is shit.
Do you cry?
When we say goodbye.
Do you know?
I still miss you though.
DO YOU LISTEN WITH HER?
What we were.
ilu honey, please don't forget about it
the L word
short answer is no, but ive never been one to shut up so ima tell you exactly why its a no. love is more than a moment, more than an experience and so much more than a word. love is a whole ass journey that flashes so many feelings into our brains, feelings to big for words. that's why we feel as if we could die for the other person that we love, because of how selfish we are we would never give up our chance to live for anyone else, but from loving another we have been enraveled into so many emotions regarding love that we put aside our selfish needs and wants and are willing to give up everything for another. my point to all this is that love cant be enveloped into a short glance, it must grow over time and trust. so no, love at first sight ridiculous of a concept because it is quite to big of a sensation.
sucks, contains language
hey man, i would write your real name but im to scared
that sounds weird but anything else i came up with was worse. i love you so much. like a lot. i wish i could say something corny like "i've never felt this way", but i have and last time i got hurt so bad and i just recently got over that. but here i am. fallen once again. i know that this is like a letter to you but i can never give it to you because you hate me and that won't ever change and now you have a girlfriend and things are so complicated. i will miss you a lot but i guess this is what is best. cause of your age and mine, the new girl, and how i fucked up bad. i missed my chance by two years. god damn that fucking sucks. i will respect your wishes and leave you be but that doesnt mean my feelings go away. i wish they would. but its all i think about. how it felt to feel your lips on mine. how we had so much in common. how we just clicked so well. is she better? is the new girl more funny, because thats one of your dealbreakers. or is she more pretty? do you call her beautiful, just like how you called me pretty? i drew nicolas cage because thats your favorite but i will never give it to you. never. i want you back so bad. this fucking sucks ass.
(sorry guys if you can't figure out the story but i needed to be raw to get this out and this challenge was the perfect way)
unrequited love
He looked at me with lust in his eyes. His eyes hungry for my flesh. I smirked as he moved closer, and closer. His hands felt me up, moving up and down my waist. I started to grind on him as he groaned. His breath quickened. Picking me up, we moved to the bed. He layed me down gently. Sitting back, I moved to take my dress off hastily. He pulled off my underwear and moved even closer to me. He dropped his pants as he moved to my pussy. I moaned soft at first as he licked, licked, licked. I got louder as he stuck his tongue into me. He started to kiss up my body slowly til he made it to my breasts. He sucked on them with vigor as I moaned loud. I grabbed his head and pulled him up to my lips. He kissed me hard with passion as his tongue slipped into my mouth. Then he penetrated me. He told me to get to my knees and I obeyed. Then he thrust back and forth into me as I moaned louder and louder. Then we both climaxed. He sat back and layed down next to me. But it was his pillow that he grabbed. His other hoes that he said I love you to. And his phone that he held, not me. He had no idea how much I was burning with hope that he would love me and that he would finally kiss me out of love and not lust. My sweet sweet unrequited love was tearing me apart.
