Untitled
Have I come a long way up ’till today?
Perhaps with every single step taken,
It grew and changed as the time flew away
Slowly, lips curve, eyes squint; new awaken.
Gone: silence, forced smiles, stiff words–unknown
Warmth cracks what was once frozen; locked and wild.
Rays seep, laughs creep; the cover is now blown
Away the cold–embrace the hidden child
Haven found; tears dried. Must I say goodbye?
Perhaps now the regrets will diminish
A sorry apology to make, I
Am late to fulfill your past treasured wish
Best hopes and love to our new beginning
Let the old and tired to be sleeping
