is juggling spirits and their vapors
between the Bunson burners
from one hot plate to the other
the blue lit flame
a gas
lighting
for the insane
pursuit of
gain
in a day
that's slipping
for the millennia
My friend Al says
that our Cooking's'
neither art nor science
fuel molting like lava
red as faith
turkey gobble
burnt like coal
I look in the dish...
