"We normally put Cyclo's requested payment from each resident in a treasure chest on the stage, then he checks it before leaving." Tamma explained. "Cerissa, Essie.... do you have any magic powers that can generate a trap in the chest?"
"I do have an electric trap spell that can temporarily hold and shock the target that touches the item in question." Essie offered enthusiastically. "It won't likely contain him for long, but it should be enough for Cerissa to step in and follow up with one of her skills."
"Right, we could then teleport him out of the town to a more deserted area nearby." Cerissa added with a smile. "Tamma, could we borrow some of the farmlands outside of town? Essie and I can both use recovery magic to restore any damages to the crops and lands that acrue from the battle."
"Sounds like a perfect set up to me." Tamma smiled. "Thank you girls, I'm feeling better already."
"Once Cyclo is transferred, Cerissa will warp all of us to the same country part of town as well." The Pirate contributed. "I am confident that all of our recent training will be enough to subdue Cyclo."
"Yeah Tamma, when we're done with him, he won't dare mess with you or your people ever again!" Rick shouted gleefully before blushing. "Sorry! Didn't mean to get so over enthusiastic there."
"Not at all, your youthful energy is wonderful and reassuring Rick." Tamma beamed. "Let's meet here a couple of hours before Cyclo is set to arrive to complete the final preparations tomorrow. Two hours beforehand is enough time, right?"
"Of course." The Pirate said, grinning confidently.
"Thank you so much everyone." Tamma said gratefully. "Would it be okay if I walk back to your car with you? If I can hitch a ride, I will show you the way to the hotel where you will be staying."
"Please do Tamma, that would be great." The Pirate said appreciatively.
The group returned to the rental car parked outside of The Aplonica Coffee Bean & Brew. They piled in and accepted Tamma's directions toward the unknown hotel. After passing a few more small businesses, a giant mansion that didn't fit in with the rest of the small town came into view.
"Tamma, is that the hotel by any chance?" Rick asked incredulously.
"No Rick, that is where my father and I live." Tamma replied miserably.
