Burning desire
I could hear the embers
Far away from sleep
Feel the burn
Growing ever deep
Could grasp the flames
That danced without me
Could fan the fires
That raged around me
The chaos stormed
The ash fell silent
But still
I could not quell its violence
The quick consumption
A warm embrace
The waning light
A sign of fate
The anger burned and blew and faltered
Until just smoke remained
An alter
It's there I lay my last desires
To burn anew
Upon old pires
Remade, ignited, and fueled by heart
Until again tht crackle starts
