When a Sinner’s Heart Pays
Shadow harshly shoving the ground, per chime
Punishing themself before the grime
Scraping thick ashes in a filthy rhyme
The ticking of life is the keeper of time
Starving flames lick at teardrop splinters,
rivers of sorrow that feed the cinders
as though they were guiltless tinders
until the ticking ends to pays the sinner
