From Ashes
Come to the door of my youth.
Breathe into me all of your lies, all your pain.
Light the match you've kept in your back pocket.
Burn me to the ground baby, you know you can.
But I will not be buried in this wreckage. Charred and broken, I'll wash myself of your "love".
In the end, I'll leave this house in cinders
and I'll walk away clean.
