First Female President
The news has reported that Kamala Harris had already secured enough delegates to become the Democratic nominee which means she has the opportunity to become the first female President of the United States (sorry Hillary!).
Kamala Harris was the first person to abandon her campaign during the 2020 primary. When given a choice, voters flatly rejected her. However, this time, voters don't get a choice to nominate her during a primary. It's either elect Harris or lose democracy as we know it (which considering how undemocratic our election processes are, might not be a bad thing).
If I were a conspiracy theorist, it's not such a huge stretch to think that the party elites planned this whole thing. According to George Clooney, they all knew Biden had some cognitive issues, but they covered it up until the primary season was over. Is that because they knew in a competitive primary, Kamala would lose? Then when the primary season was over, they force Ol' Joe out and anoint Kamala as their nominee. Is that because they think a woman can't win on her own merits and if she can't win on her own merits, what makes them think she can beat Trump? that seems a bit sexist to me, but I digress.
Of course, she could easily beat Trump if he's dead and that almost happened but that's not because some government entity left an easy shot any 7-year-old who knows how to fire a rifle could hit unguarded and told a sniper to stand down until some shooter working entirely on his own fired a shot at the target they were supposed to protect. That's crazy talk and it also implies that these people might be competent and if they were competent, they wouldn't have messed up assassinating Trump. Back in the 'good Ol' days, when you planned a political assassination, you did the job right. So that can't be it.
The media wants you to know that any attack on Harris will be based on race and gender and therefore should be flatly rejected. After all, shouldn't Harris be judged on something more substantial? Well, one person of color commented that she isn't voting for Kamala because Kamala is a cop, and we all know what cops do to people of color. There are reports that Harris fought to keep nonviolent inmates in California's overcrowded prison's because they were cheap labor, and we all know that people of color are overrepresented in our penal system in regard to their percentage in the general population. Now, most of those people are men and we know there is a subset of the female population that believes all men should be locked up anyway, so that might not be a negative with some female voters, but is it enough to put her over the top?
Whoopi Goldberg of the view let everyone know on air that she was voting democrat even if that meant voting for a corpse. She is also having a hard time that everyone has thrown Joe overboard (she must not have gotten the memo about Kamala), but that's another issue altogether. Loyalty is a good trait to have though, so I'm not knocking her for it.
There are women who think this is there moment to rise up and take power, but those women are delusional. Kamala isn't being promoted because she is pro-woman, she is being promoted because she is pro-establishment and anyone who is pro-establishment is anti-average people. Anyone who doesn't get that is stupid. The only people who should be voting for Kamala are those who benefit from the establishment. Everyone else should be voting for a third-party candidate (which will never happen by the way).
