Adamantium
Forged in cold.
The subzero temperatures
Break apart the fabricated lattice.
Intially Counterintuitive,
But the chemistry reveals
A nanoscopic anomaly.
Most metals freeze
At lower temperatures;
Not Adam.
It shatters and fragments,
Creating fractures
Like a muscle.
Adding heat allows
For the bonds
To reform a solid matrix.
Once splintered by cold,
Adam coalesces
In everyday warmth.
