“I do not exist!”

Quite the dichotomous statement

Particularly while staring

Into a mirror

The reflection is unique

And impossible to leave behind

Much more difficult than

Walking away from my shadow

The ironic part is this

My shadow follows me

But my reflection

Walks away

Despite my point of view
