Challenge
Is there anything free?
Free Spirit
Gulping tastes of life
animated, she croons,
“There is no tomorrow.”
Joy infuses her skin
marinates my heart.
Her free flying spirit
soars wide open places,
blazes own trail.
Gliding on sprightly wings
in crimson tinged clouds,
she frolics in mustard moonlight
as she tickles and kindles
transparency of my spark
with rainbow moist kisses.
Like a wild mountain lion
she roams free.
I can’t tame her as
she flits from one
reflection to another,
heartbeat teasing
and pleasing the sky,
shooting stars.
I must release her
to fly on swift breezes
letting her smile
catch the sun.
