Writer’s Block Inspiration

I’ve only viewed the photo

I’ve never been to the locale

Sardinia is now a wish list possibility

Whether at sunrise or sunset

Both satisfy the muse within

Wonder if the cuisine surpasses the expanse

Wonder if the ambiance surpasses both

Vegas odds makers say, “Yes”

But, I will have to verify

Possibly with a cup of espresso in tow

I do not know how to dance

I do not speak Italian

I do have a wife that is fluent in both

Time to sharpen her teaching skills

Time to sharpen my learning skills

A daily journal could not do this adventure justice

If I could not remember the daily events

Sans journal

Yet, a page of free verse might

Even if written prior to my arrival
