Let's make a paradise! This can be anything you envision as the perfect place to go and relax. Perhaps a beach, or a waterfall or maybe some romantic city. Maybe it's a room in your house. Be creative! My retreats are always nature related, perhaps yours are too or perhaps they are quite different. Take me with you and walk me there. Show me around. Any type of writing. Prefer poetry. A Bed, or A Coffin?
Soft, white cushions
Made of satin.
A bed of roses,
Such lovely fragrance.
A glass above,
So crystal clear,
I opened my eyes,
Yet a night without stars appears.
You see my reflection,
Amidst the mist,
My face so peaceful,
And a cut in my wrist.
Such elegant designs,
The carved wood,
How much blood has it bled?
How much pain has it endured?
It is so like me,
A mesh of pain and beauty,
Yet in those cushions of serenity,
I can sleep, finally.
