Dragonfire:

A heat of such great intensity.

It melts and scorches

Until nothing is left but ashen grey

Piles of villagers.

Scales like tectonic plates, slithering

Over burning reptilian muscle

And a stony heart

That cools the eruption

Until the wretched creature breathes again.
