My Manifest Destiny
My manifest destiny stares back
Through a sunset pair of eyes
Oklahoma land rushing through my veins
You're all the bounty of the plains
You're the beautiful delirium
Of bright blue skies
All these strong bucks want you too's
I want to be the one you choose
But when the gun guns,
And they run to your plot
My wagon will stay
In this very spot
You're my manifest destiny
But I couldn't improve ya,
And Lord knows you're not free
Be my manifest destiny
Please, ride up aways east for me
