Flaws of the Skin
Flawless, creamy skin peaks from under luxurious silk garnered from the warm lands of the Orient. It teases the eye, delighting wandering glances and curious thoughts. However, beneath the demure coverings lies unspoken ugliness. The mirror shows only the beast that lies underneath, as though nothing else matters than the flaws of the skin. No silk, no satin, no softened cotton could cover the imperfections that only my eyes can see.
In the depth of dark despair, a cocoon shelters my heart. No emotion is too strong to defend against, and loneliness lingers on...
