What is Love

Longing for the touch

of the person you care for

and appeasing to their wants

like when they want you to share more.

Open minded to the thoughts

and beliefs of that person.

Staying up late as they return

from their nightly excursions.

Violent arguing

once you realize y'all messed up.

But she says I'm keeping it,

so there's no period next month.

Everlasting passion

coupled with ongoing forgiveness.

This is what I call love.

I pray that we never end this.
