Challenge
Okay Prosers, this challenge is very close to my heart. I was talking to one of my dear friends the other day who is blind. She never complains about it and is always laughing and a ray of sunshine but on this day she confessed that she was feeling down. "It's just darkness all the time," she said. Said it twice. Her words cut me to the core. I wanted to say something, anything by way of empathy, but mostly I wanted to paint her sight back somehow. Calling all painters, poets, and word magician
Your brain is the answer
The gift of seeing is not with the eyes
It is with the mind
We see things daily and take it all for granted
But inside your mind seen not though eyes
Everything has the possibility of being wondrous
Everything can be something better
Ugly can become beautiful
Grey can become exciting
Something small can be gigantic
Weak can be strong
You have a gift and you do not realise
You have the ability to see everything as you choose
We see the world as it is
At times the world is not pretty and it is not kind
Sometimes it creates monsters
Mutates perfection and then we are in shock
So enjoy your imagination for it is far stronger than ours will ever be
You have a super-power!
