Silliness, Randomness, Un-poeticness
I like potatoes,
You like tomatoes,
I eat tomatoes,
And you eat potatoes.
I like skizzy skizzors,
You like swoopy skeletons,
The first stanza of this poem rhymed,
This one doesn't.
Lazy lizards eat little trees,
Jelly gelatin bounces with bees,
This stanza is actually going to rhyme,
Okay, I lied it doesn't.
Trying is lying,
Sharing is swearing,
Don't believe the lies,
Sharing's not caring.
Hey that last stanza rhymed,
Look at that huge mountain I climbed,
Okay I didn't actually climb it,
I just felt like lying.
I started this poem,
Writing about potatoes,
Pineapples are better than you,
I hope you get the memo.

Time
Time is a valuable thing.
You have to cherish the moment.
Don't wait around for life to give you purpose.
You have to run and grab it.
You are the only person who can change you.
Don't wait for the good times to come right to you.
Choose your own path,
But don't race to the finish.
Race ahead of your years.
Don't waste time.
Time will kill you, it's inevitable.
Life cannot tell you what to do.

Time and Life
Stop to think...
unwrap the gift of life.
live your life with appreciation.
time is valuable.
cherish it.
time is a gift, not a hinderance.
life is precious.
life is a turtle dove.
life is a greeting, not a threat.
life is a treasure waiting to be found.
appreciate what is given.
live life with passion.

Marching Around the Clock
Drifting through life
Wasting time
It marches on around you
Leaving you behind
Once it's gone
You can't get it back
So live in the moment
Today can't be replaced
Your life will continue flowing
Until it's done
And then you've reached the end of the line
It's over, it's gone
And it won't come back
Crossroads
I come to a crossroads
And I stop in the path of life
Which way should I go?
How will I ever know?
My friends swarm around me
Choosing different paths
I can pick either one
But the other will be lost forever
Making a space in my life
That won't be filled
Except by new things and strangers
And everything unknown
So which will I choose?
One could lead to triumph and glory
The other to happiness and success
I have to pick one
Should I ask others for help?
Or just turn around and guess?
