Sheep’s Clothing
A sheepish smile draws across his face;
She, too young, lays atop the torn and tattered pink lace.
Once this friendly bond between teacher and student was true;
A terrible truth unvailed from a man who is cruel.
She shudders and thinks no, it’s not alright;
She cries and believes she could never win this fight.
He was physically strong and successfully manipulative, she was not;
He told her, it’s ok, and that he would never be caught.
A teacher is a person in which we give our trust;
Parents and others unwilling to believe teachers can feel anger, hate, or lust.
A child is weak and easily overpowered;
This mans actions are the making of a real coward.
