Depression of doubt.

"What if" can bring a positive or negative hypothetical. "What if never," can only bring sadness and fear. "What if never" there is a love for me guides me safely to my hole in the ground where the walls are made of packed mud. It is dug so deep the light of "What if maybe" is only a change in the shadows I have befriended while stuck here.
