A Blank Canvas
A blank canvas for you.
I’d hand out the brush to you.
We can paint new faces and rainbows
And you can draw a new line.
But the world hasn’t turned its back on you.
Nothing sets in stone.
Sometimes our emotions turn to stone.
And you question yourself whether you’re alive
Or just hibernating.
And with our words here in this portal,
I hope to give you some relief.
Catch-30
Tik tok tik tok... The road is long
We’re going back to ninety-four
Ten years later, we move along
We’ve still got it at twenty four
The sun was high and we’re lively
We were young and we were free
I’m fine with you, I’m fine with you
A time to buy, a time to lose
I’m laying down and feel the sun
Said ninety-four, I feel your pain
On our nineteen, we’ve felt the sun
Hey twenty four, I feel you too
I’m fine with you, I’m fine with you
Three years later, we’re on the run
For crying out loud... Up in the clouds
A time to kill, a time to choose
Man on the run...
Why did you try to chase the sun?
We’re sinking down and going down
Further down the rabbit hole
We’re going mad with this old soul
But tell me something I don’t know
No air... In suffocation
Sense of security and stability
Surrender now... There’s no more room
For two or three in this body
Twenty six, just burn it down
Wish you knew yourself better
Wish you’ve done it differently
But in the end,
it doesn’t really matter
Twenty eight, just burn it down
Let’s ride the waves of the ocean
We gotta keep our innocence
Cause in the end, it doesn’t really matter

Autumn
October 27, 2015
I remember everything about autumn. The way the wind whispers to you like the nature is talking to your soul and the sound of leaves blowing when I walk on the street that has no name. And everytime I step on the fallen leaves, the sound of the leaves rustling underfoot tells me how something is dying and it dies a little more on the inside. You cannot hear it because it doesn't make any sound but you can feel it.
