Why can't you love me?
Write a story - poetry or prose about unrequited love. Tag me!
Dead Daydreams
My bitter heart, all it wanted,
It was \drowning\, it was sinking,
How could you be the light?
The only remnant of brightness.
You,
my everything.
Trying desperately to /hold/ /on/.
My failing legs b/r/o/k/e beneath me,
I just need you to know-
but that truth might ruin you.
How do I look in your eyes
when all I want is you?
To remain sober of your smile,
Is my slow kil/ler.
Everyday becomes
older,
And the daydreams
Shorter,
To wake to your vibrancy,
Is a distant day of non-existence.
