I am screaming in my head,
I feel a burning sensation in my throat,
It's choking,
Provoking bitter tears.
Not sadness,
More like madness.
My sanity is ruled by,
Numbers,
Single letters,
"I have to get better."
They call it learning,
But what about these returning break downs?
I seek a way out,
This is a way out,
Reminisce,
Those moments,
Exposing,
Wishing my heart was frozen.
Falling apart,
People say I'm smart,
But pull me apart,
You will uncover,
A girl,
Just a girl,
Who yearns the return,
Of laughter without the act,
Saying "I'm happy,"
Without a catch.
But,
We're almost done,
Ready for the reruns,
Water guns,
Puns,
The sun.
