Election Interference
Former President Trump is currently involved in a lot of court cases. A lot of what former President Trump is in court for happened while he was President. For those of you who are math challenged, that's roughly around 4 years ago. However, instead of charging the former President in the previous three years, they decided to wait until the year of the next election to bring all their lawsuits.
Do you really think it took 4 years for these people to build their cases? They could have brought all these court cases up last year and the Supreme Court could have already ruled on whether the former President should be allowed on the ballot. Wouldn't that have been more convenient than waiting until the election year to do it? Well, not for the powers that be it isn't.
If the question were already settled, it would be a lot harder to get everyone emotionally all riled up. I mean, let's face it, who cares about the government printing Trillions of dollars overnight making all of the dollars we currently have worth less? Who cares about immigrants pouring into our southern border like a tsunami? Who cares about the government stoking the flames of a potential World War III? Who cares about a fragile food supply chain? Who cares that our current President thinks the Hamas attack on Israel this past August 6th happened 60 years ago? (He claimed that in a speech) Who cares about any of that when you have the most evil person in the known universe trying to run for President again?
Don't worry if you forget, the corporate media will do their part to remind you how evil Donald Trump is and how fragile democracy is. They will remind you that a vote for Donald Trump is a vote for totalitarianism while social media companies have already trained you to self-censor on You Tube and any views contrary to the approved narrative is highly discouraged. We are facing an existential threat that previous generations didn't have to worry about. Oh, sure, they were under the threat of nuclear annihilation but that's nothing compared with the threat of deepfake AI generated images and video. A picture used to be worth a thousand words, now it's worth a thousand lying words. It used to be that seeing was believing, now even that's a lie.
All of these court cases are clearly meant for the purpose of election interference because the powers that be don't want to take the chance that you are going to re-elect Donald Trump. Now you could argue that President Trump actually did something wrong and to that I say, why wait 3 years to prosecute him if he did something wrong? The reason is because they wanted to wait for the election year to do it so they could interfere in it. Now it looks like the trials for not going to be wrapped up before the election. Now it looks like the courts are going to take their time while the prosecutors complain that they need to get through the trials as fast as possible.
Those who are ultra partisan are going to cheer or jeer these efforts accordingly while people sitting on the fence are going to see these actions for what they are: Election Interference.
Winter Mist
a.n.: this is a piece i had beforehand, and am using as an example
On all other days of the year, the mountains are bright and clear, a vivid green from the trees on full display for everyone to see. From mid-November to early March, though, the clouds descend from the sky and their mist shrouds the mountain like a cloak, covering its peak and hiding it behind the vast white, submerging it with the rest of the cloudy-gray sky. The mountain seems to loom over the city it surrounds, more than before, with an aura of undecidedness, mystery, in their air.
The foot of the mountain, if you choose to climb her this cold season, will seem warmer; inviting even. As you ascend higher, however, the air will grow colder and thinner; the ground turning hard and rough. Chunks of snow and ice will mar the rich soil of the earth until it’s no longer the white that’s intruding, but the brown, as the snow overtakes the ground.
If you had not prepared for this, you would have to turn back, head down to where the trees’ green still shows, the crows are still cawing and you can vaguely hear the sound of a car passing in the distance, roughing the gravel road. You did come for this, though; with chain boots and gloves; you’ll have to endure the harsh terrain, because over time it will only grow more so, the farther up you go. Hope that you began on your path early on enough, because at this time of the year, and at the slow, steady pace you take, the sun will dim over the horizon soon and the moon will begin its journey westward. Darkness will fall, blinding you to your surroundings, hiding the hazards and dangers of the path you have chosen to traverse.
You should hurry, ready the peak before sunset to see the city lights turn on, one by one, and watch, mesmerized, as the orange glow of the sky turns red turns to a deep purple. You’ve made it this far, and basking in your victory over the mountain, you miss the shadows closing in and the predatory eyes watching you, watching watching watching, and forget you’ve yet to make the journey down.
