Something you want to remember from this quarantine is...
Just write about something you remember, or want to remember about this quarantine. If its okay with you, try to make it under 100 words if it is a poem, but if you can't, thats okay too! If another type of writing, like fiction or prose, it doesn't matter. Thanks!
Uncovered
There was a time we felt safe
and the misfortunes of others
were clearly tucked away
Until we saw death and sickness
of strangers turn into family and friends
Until we saw fear and uncertainty
In the eyes of masked faces
Until we learned to love
and truly took the time
to enjoy the presence of
those alive with us
Until we decided to not
take our blessings for granted
