Imagination
Infatuated with you.
It’s the way your eyes shaped when you smiled.
Or the sound of our laughter togther.
I wanted to rush right into your life, run miles and miles, just to catch up to you.
You. You who I envisioned this life with.
But a vision would only be an imagination.
That i will carry with me as just that.
To my imaginary love this is for you.
Self love.
We are often consumed by society and the image of being perfect.
Perfect life.
Perfect relationship.
Perfect career.
Perfect body.
The perfect face. This one this one is my favorite.
With needles in our faces injections in our breast. We lay there & hope all our insecurities will disappear.
Disappear into the desperation of being perfect.
We want to live up to society’s expectations.
With a simple realization it’s about living up to your expectations.
Living up to dedications, dreams foundations.
& once you do that you’ll see that there’s no one in control of your path, not even society.
but you.

Pretty secrets
Pretty little secrets.
I keep you locked away.
I keep you hidden, so no one can open you.
I keep them away so they are safe. Safe from this world we live in.
Safe from judgment. Judgment that will only lead to disaster. A disaster that we won’t come back from. Secrets that I won’t come back from.
Pretty little secrets
I keep you locked away. I don’t ever open you, because if I did, it’s a beautiful reminder of what could’ve been and what isn’t. A beautiful memory.
- You‘re a beautiful memory.

Book shelf
I want you to read me.
No, not skim through me & toss me back into your book shelf with all the others.
I want you to read every word on my body, with grace.
No don’t toss me back to your book shelf with all the others don’t judge me like judging a book by its cover.
I want you to love every flaw every error every word you come across.
Then I want you to put me back not on your book shelf but next to you when you fall asleep. Eventually willing to pick me up again and read more.
A poem to the one ❤️
