She would survive the zombie run.
For some inexplicable reason, she was invisible to them.
Sure that they were dwindling in numbers she watched mystified as a group entered the graveyard and started to dig up the lately interred. The clank of shovels and intensity of the zombie's cause made her shiver.
Daring to venture close for a better look, her gag reflex reacted to the stench and she retreated. Confused by this eerie behavior, her thoughts wandered to her memory.
Her parents died horribly. they had hidden, all of them in a cave at the edge of town.
On the day the zombies discovered the hide, she had been foraging for food. She returned, in time to hear her mother's screams and father moan. At the mouth of the cave she witnessed her mother stripped and torn asunder. Unable to stop herself she cried out. The whole pack turned and came toward her. she ran until she could run no more and resigning herself to fate lay down under a bush. They came to within inches of her and passed on by. It was then she realized her power.
trial and tribulate
Met my date at his gate
with chest inflate
he said;
"great, you're not late,
time we ate, grab a plate
when we're sate;
sex after eight?
I can't wait."
Result.
Me, irate;
Before I hesitate,
I say,
"Mate, see your weight
from eating chocolate!
You're too fat"
Saw him deflate, meet his fate
...no more deviate.
Bad Mother
One eye was late again.
Of all the demons she had spawned, he was the most demonic.
How much trouble keeping him in line...Lucy shook her head.
Drifting down the darkened thoughts of old, remembering.
Each God given a right to rule. Dominion over everything.
Vulcan and Vesta, fire in the hearth, burned to ember
incinerating all but one the cinder, the godlet,
Lucy, born of fire risen from ash. She would inherit it all.
Memories of the fall. Why she waged war was not all clear.
Young and willful she brooked no disturbance to her dominance.
Faunus, God of prophecy foretold the war, the wicked things
in which she would partake. As matriarch of evil, make her mark.
Risking his head, he further said that she would never again know
soft light; but rule from dark and all her subjects from her loins.
Taken with him, she bedded, wedded to the future, and bore his child.
Delivered of a wild fur-ball a squally fearful featherless being.
Aptly then she named him Mars and he became the god of wars.
Raising him alone. Because Faunus denied his blood, so she
killed him by her pointed tail, amid mad throes, her child's eye.
Thus she changed his name. One-eye became her only son.
He was Lucy's fur and they were one, Lucifer.
Eternal evil worried the gods and secret spells were cast.
Then Libintia, of the funeral fame conspired with Bacchus.
He concocted a deadly wine and wooed lucy for his concubine.
Every day a drop given a feather fell unnoticed till
one day only a skeleton of limbs remained protruding
really rotting from the damp.
Yelling threats she fell from grace .
Only one place, where no gods roamed, beneath the earth.
Finally she sensed her home and made the fire that roared her name.
Eventually her wrath raged far, her spawn sent out to start more war.
Victims tell of nightmare raids, hated thoughts to evil deeds.
Incestuous by right of blood, these devils grew more
licentious taking good from everywhere and making bad.
Lucifer with eyes of fire, kin of evil, mother of desire.
Underworld lady lord cared not one wit for what was good
She toyed with every lustful thing and laughed and hated.
This the story of Temptation's bride. It is true I promise you.
He he.
