Play on the fringe of Branded Content: Imagine your favorite Branded Content; Marvel Comics, Star Trek, Firefly / Buffy-tVS, Stranger Things, Breaking Bad etc. Write a story "parallel" to the story(ies) everyone knows. Try to imply the connection without directly saying "As Luke was blowing up the Death Star I had thankfully just left with my weekly run of Vader's empty coleslaw containers."
