Candles

The date was April 16, 1993 and Jack was celebrating his 15th Anniversary with his wife Alexis. "Happy anniversary honey, hope you like what I got you", says Jack as he hands Alexis a small box. Inside she finds a silver with diamond necklace. She stays silent with a little smile. "Guess you did like it" says Jack as he goes over to a small coffee table grabbing a cake," Look Alexis, I got us a little cake, your favorite...chocolate cake" Alexis, still silent, still has the same smile...but nods. Jack lights some candles but as he lights them the wind from the window blows them out. Later about 5 minutes later a police officer comes in. As he walks in he stops in his tracks and sees Jack in the middle of a dark room sitting in a chair next to Alexis who is hanging from the ceiling...
