My Poem For All
In the realm of universal hearts, I shall craft
A potent verse, where emotions take flight
Enchanting souls with every word to sift
Through depths of passion
Wielding my might
Let sorrow dance with joy in an embrace
As twilight kisses dawn, their tears entwined
Metaphors in fabric of time and space
An allegory of what's left behind
Oh, life, you tempest wild, fickle and fleet
A tapestry of love and bittersweet pain
Symbolic threads interwoven complete
A universal sigh, our loves and strains
We breathe in sonnets, exhale golden prose
In haikus, fluttering like butterflies' wings
With smiles, our hearts find sweet reprose
As onomatopoeias make us sing
Personifications ascend, hopes twirling
While hyperboles scale mountains unclimbed
With alliteration's grace, words start swirling
A dance of consonants, beauty enshrined
Emotions, arsenals of metaphors wielded
Anaphora echoes, heart's eternal beat
Ode's love enraptured, by passions shielded
Refrains repeating, making woes retreat
Like a phoenix reborn from ashes scorched
The human spirit blooms, against all odds
For in this verse, all hearts are truly forged
Resonating chords, connecting all gods
Let this poem be a spell unrestricted
A symphony of words that touch your soul
For in its depths, the human spirit's scripted
To heal, to inspire, to make us whole
May it be an anthem, forever sung
Echoing through time with reverent awe
A flame of truth, where every human's hung
Words etched eternally, in hearts we draw
So let them read and weep, for it's our creed
To find a piece of self in every line
This poem, a reflection of every need
A vessel where all humanity will shine
For in each heartbeat and every breath drawn,
In every tear shed and every laugh shared
We unite in struggles, loves, and hope's drawn
A poem for all, forever bared
I’m sorry, Chico
My dear chico, how I miss your crow
With every sunrise and glow
Your feathered frame, your vibrant iridescent hue
Your loud pecks at the food bowl and shrill calls that would break through
I'm sorry I couldn't provide more
The full measure for you to thrive
Chronic pain left me bound and weak
And my care for you was incomplete
But your legacy reminds me still
To push past limits, to rise and fill
My responsibilities, though they be hard
Your memory forever plays its card
Your feathered body may be gone
But your spirit lingers and lives on
A warrior who braved the harshest storms
I'll honor you in how I live
And strive my very all to give
For you, my dear rooster, have shown
That despite the pain I've known
I can rise above and carry on
And keep your memory true and strong
Inner Storms
In this world of relentless spinning tide,
A tale unfolds of being left to hang dry,
When others, bewildered by your inner storm,
Choose to turn away, leaving you forlorn
Respect, dear friend, can be a fleeting art,
Easily tossed aside, tearing us apart.
But fret not, for your truth has value untold,
Though some may not grasp the worth you hold
Isolation weighs heavy, a burden to bear,
As solitude wraps around you with a somber air.
Yet, in this desolation, seeds of strength take root,
For within the darkest moments, resilience will shoot
Coping and healing, hand in hand they dance,
An intertwined rhythm, a triumphant chance.
Embrace the solitude, let it be your guide,
Creating space within to let your essence shine
Seek solace in art, in music, in words,
Find solace in nature, where souls are heard.
For when the world turns away, your spirit remains,
With resilience and light, your truth always sustains
Remember, dear one, your tale carries weight,
In this vast universe, your voice finds its fate.
So let not the desertion dampen your flame,
For it's in forging ahead that you conquer your pain
Take solace in knowing, you're never alone,
For there are kindred souls, whose hearts are your home.
And as you rise from the depths, stronger, anew,
May your resilience inspire, enlighten, and imbue
Fear not the abandonment, dear friend,
The healing shall flourish, the wounds will amend.
In time, you'll find a tribe, who cherishes your light,
And together, you'll soar, shining ever so bright
A Virtue
Righteousness, a virtue rare
For those who seek a path most fair
A worthy goal to aspire to
Attainable by the chosen few
To be righteous is to be just
To honor truth and fairness must
To live a life of pure intent
With values high and morals bent
It means to do what's right and true
Without a thought of me or you
For righteousness is selfless love
A gift from heaven up above
It teaches us to shun all wrong
And follow the path that is long
With patience, wisdom, and pure heart
A journey we must all embark
For righteousness, o blessed state
Is the key to freedom's gate
The light that guides our souls to shine
And leads us to the divine
Joy of Living
Life is a precious gift,
A beautiful sunrise and sunset to lift;
The joy of living is a blessing,
Each day a new adventure, no guessing.
The air we breathe, the songs we hear,
The laughter and love we hold so dear;
Simple pleasures that make us glad,
And memories that we'll never forget.
So let us cherish every moment,
And live each day to the fullest extent;
For life is to be celebrated,
And each breath is a precious content.
The joy of life is all around,
In every sight, smell, and sound;
A gift that we should treasure,
And a reason to live with pleasure.
Follow Heart
If you want to do what you love,
Then don't hesitate, just rise above;
Your passion is what drives you on,
And life is brief, it won't last for long.
Do not worry about the cash,
It's chasing a shadow that's awash;
Instead, follow your heart and soul,
And let joy be your ultimate goal.
Don't let others' opinion sway,
Or fear of failure, for they may;
Just take the risk, give it your all,
And you'll have fun, for sure you'll never fall.
Remember, life is not just about work,
It's about the memories, the mirth;
Being happy and contented is all that counts,
In the end, those moments will amount.
So, chase your dreams, follow your heart,
And creativity will be your art;
Life is full of possibilities and much to manifest,
Doing what you love, will always be the best.
Yearn for Solace.
In the depths of my soul, an ache resides,
A yearning for solace, where my truth abides.
For the echoing plea of my heart, you see,
Yet, the help I desire remains out of reach.
I weave my words into the vast expanse,
Communicating my needs, my inner dance.
But alas, dear friend, it seems to pass you by,
As if your vision perceives an altered sky.
The world begs for shifts, for change to bloom,
Yet, you ask that I alter, 'fore you consume.
But when I seek refuge within your embrace,
It's met with a request to conform and erase.
How can I transform without understanding,
The struggles within, my soul expanding?
The path to healing is lined with compassion,
Yet, without empathy, we stumble in frustration.
I beseech you, dear one, to listen with care,
To lay down your judgments and simply be there.
For transformation thrives in the absence of blame,
And growth unfolds when acceptance reigns.
Let me be heard, without the weight of your will,
For I seek liberation, not conformity's thrill.
I long for a space where acceptance resides,
Where my essence is cherished, without compromise.
So, I implore you, dear friend, to hear my plea,
To hold my words gently and set them free.
For the truest help lies in supporting each other,
In embracing growth while honoring one another.
Together, let us journey on a path of grace,
Where understanding reigns, embracing each face.
May we evolve in harmony, side by side,
Yet, let us refrain from asking for change while we hide.
For in the depths of our being, we yearn to be seen,
To be heard, understood, and held within esteem.
With open hearts and minds, let's strive to relate,
And in that sacred space, we shall find our true fate.
Ambition
To live life without ambition
Is like sailing without a direction
Drifting aimlessly, without intention
Without striving, there's no progression
But with ambition, life takes flight
A journey that's filled with delight
A purpose that burns so bright
Guiding me towards a future so right
With ambition, I climb higher
Reaching for dreams that inspire
Never content with just being a buyer
I'll be the game-changer, the go-getter, the fighter
Life is too short to simply exist
Let's aim for more, let's desist
From settling for anything less
Let's strive for our dreams with full zest
For ambition fuels the fire
Giving us the wings to take us higher
To live life without limits or retire
And to fulfil every single desire.
Push Away
Pushing people away can be easy to do,
We guard our hearts with walls that are true,
But the emptiness left is a heavy weight,
And the loneliness often seals our fate.
We may believe self-reliance is key,
That independence is what sets us free,
But we're social creatures, meant to connect,
Pushing people away, we hinder that prospect.
So what then, when we find ourselves alone?
With walls too high, and bridges unknown?
The answer lies in vulnerability,
Taking the risk, in the face of fragility.
Opening up is not a sign of weakness,
But a strength, when we push through the bleakness,
Seeking understanding and showing support,
Finding common ground, a rapport.
With patience and willingness to try,
To overcome what kept us shy,
We start small, with a simple smile,
And let our walls down, for a while.
We reach out to others, listen and share,
And soon find ourselves once more in a care,
Of friends and family, love and laughter,
The joy of connection, now ever-after.
So, when the urge to push people away,
Creeps up on us, as it just may,
Remember that life is better lived,
Together, side by side, heart to heart, gifts to give.
Purpose
Money won't solve all your woes,
Nor will it make your struggles go,
Despite what many may propose,
Cash can't be a balm for every woe.
Indeed, money can buy you comfort,
And a luxurious lifestyle too,
But take heed, it's not a passport,
To lessen the pains that trouble you.
Your purpose is what matters most,
The reason behind the work you do,
It justifies the effort and cost,
Of the battles that you pursue.
If you care only for wealth and fame,
And not for a noble cause at heart,
You may soon regret the path you came,
When adversity plays its part.
So, let us value purpose more,
And not be snared by the lure of gold,
For it's one thing that will endure,
Long after we're gone and old.
