Time
“The trouble is, you think you have time, tick tock tick tock you don’t,” Richard spoke with a menacing tone.
Leah frowned as she replied “ just give me one more day, 24hours is all I ask for.”
Richard chuckled “you must do this.” Leah sighed as she looked at the retreating man in black, she had to do it. The next day, Leah quickly rushed to Ben’s house. He saw her approach and smiled broadly at her, “my love, you look beautiful.” Leah smiled back but her smile looked forced, Ben in his excitement began to plan for the day, “so I am thinking we can first have lunch, then we can watch a movie, then I can take you for a ride...” as he spoke Leah interrupted him, “Ben, we need to talk.” Everyone knows this statement coming from your partner is hell breaking loose. Ben’s expression changed as he sighed, “talk to me.” Leah stuttered, “ummm I am breaking up with you.” Ben exclaimed, “what! You are what! Why? Tell me why?” Leah’s eyes became watery as she spoke “I am sorry, I have no time to waste, I am sorry please forgive me.” Ben laughed, as he looked at her with a sarcastic expression, “you mean I am a waste of your time, 3 whole years Leah.” Leah’s tears dropped as she looked at him, “don’t call me, don’t text me, please.” Ben looked dejected as he was tongue tied. He looked at her with red eyes, as she walked away from him. He then shouted with anger, “you think you have time right, you think you have all the time in the world to go and come as you please, but you don’t. Leave and never come back.” Leah cried as she heard his words, being a secret agent for ten years taught her to be tough, but she fell in love and it made her weak. Leah thought she could live happily but they found out, they threatened her with his life, she gave him up for his own good. She hoped it wouldn’t be too late when she came back for him, she hoped she still had time.
