Into the Night

Go quietly into the night step softly, but speak strong and steady. Leave the pain behind, peel yourself from the hate. Go now quickly into the night, do not play with fragile time. Away you go into the unknown, rest well sweet brother, you deserve it. Don't worry brother, I will be fine, your memory I will carry In my heart you will always be. Now sleep sweet brother. Go now remembering that I will never forget. You will live on through me, now and forever, so go now into the night.

Still She remains
Hushly and softly she whispers into his ears
words are barely heard. He looks at her
scared and confused, ashamed of what he did.
Afraid to lose. Tears stream down his face
like a busted water balloon, all the pain he
caused hits him like a rock; striking him
down with the force of a thousand horses.
Breathless he lays in her lap, curled into a
ball. She holds his head and strokes his hair
calming him down with the utmost care.
She is there reminding him, the way she feels
is stronger than any of of the pain brought on by
his bitter moronic words. Together they sit, holding
on to each other, holding onto the love. They can
never be separated, their love too strong, together
always and forever. Quietly they whisper, I love you.
Words
Words I can't say enough, those simple, simple words.
They mean so much to some and so little to others.
A sacred vow to few , an empty promise for the
rest. Three words have so much power and
influence. Nations have fallen and people
killed for those same three words.
I say those words to you, all day and all night,
every minute, and every second. My words have
meaning evident through my behavior, though
not always clear. These words are my way of saying
"I'm here and I care". I carry you with me everywhere
I go. My soul pours out in those three simple yet so
complex words. My heart flutters for you.
So these words are for you and only you. Carry
this with you, when you find yourself feeling meek
alone. I am always here you are truly never alone.
Sara you stole my heart and locked it away. All I
can give, all I can say is that I love you. It will always
be that way from now and forever until we both
are old and grey.
Raped
In their eyes she is weak, all she brings to the table is sorrow and grief.
Laughing and pointing as they take turns, raping the innocence in
her soul. They leave her a shadow of a dream, a forgotten memory.
All that was once so pure and sweet is now gone. Afraid and all alone,
covered in her own blood and shame, tears flow down, the Angel Falls.
She screams to be heard, begging for someone to help, bystanders pass
her by, toss her out like yesterday's paper. Her protectors says that
she is lying. The ones that were sworn to keep her safe leave her to
the vultures and watch her die. There is no escape for her, no relief,
no one cares and no one believes. The way she dresses, all she wants is
to feel beautiful about herself, to finally be pretty. When they wrap their
thick, dense minds around the words that she has spoken since day one.
The judge says that it was brought on by what she was wearing. They
call her a whore, and say that she wanted it. This girl, this precious
miracle only wanted to laugh and play with her friends at recess but
instead received humiliation and shame. No one would help her so she
helped herself. So she took something to make the pain stop and drifted
off to sleep.
