MayFlower
Aspiring author. I dream of the fantastical and wish for the impossible. Until that comes true, I will let the stories play out on paper.
Choose a recent event in your life and write it from someone/something else's point of view.
You could write about your recent surfing lesson from the perspective of the instructor, a fish swimming below you, someone on the beach watching, or even the surfboard! Choose an interesting perspective and let the story unfold. (Bonus: Try to find something you learned from this perspective, a moral or a new viewpoint you hadn't considered.)

Write a story in only first person. You are not allowed to use any third person or second person pronouns (you/he/she/it/them/yours/theirs/etc.). Any genre, but it has to be prose. (Tag me @MayFlower )
No use of any pronouns other than first person. This will be challenging, but be creative. It is possible.
Write a breaking point. Fiction, non-fiction, a character's, yours, whatever you wish. Write about the moment in time where the person's view of everything or just one thing changed drastically due to something equally drastic. (Prose is preferred, but poetry is accepted as well if you feel you can convey your point better that way.) Tag me @MayFlower
Ever read a great, emotionally challenging breaking point in a book? Ever wanted to try your hand at it yourself? Now's your chance. Feel free to give as much or as little background to the situation as you want, but your entry has to include a breaking point or turning point.
In light of having recently watched a movie I did not like the ending to, here's a new challenge. Take any fictional story (movie, poem, book, TV show, short story, etc.) and rewrite the ending. You can make a sad ending happy or a happy ending sad or anything in between. Write it the way you would want it to end.
Can a society exist with no leaders without resorting to anarchy? Write about such a society. How are rules enforced? Are there rules? How do the people not fall into anarchy? Is it possible at all? Why or why not?
