Partnership Between Wind and Fire

Mike could not believe his eyes. As he looked out of his window he could see fires everywhere in the distance. The wind was howling as it helped the fires spread, destroying everything in their path. Homes and other structures were being erased. Days later, after the fires had been brought under control there was green everywhere. Mike began to wonder is the fire a bad thing or is it doing what it is supposed to by cleansing the ground. Are we actually the ones that are in its way?

A Visit From Hitler

It was startling to go from dreaming about Hawaii to being jolted awake by pressure on the side of my bed. You can only imagine my shock when I grabbed my glasses and could clearly see Hitler sitting on the edge of my bed. Being a history buff, it was both a shock and exciting at the same time. I was going to get to talk to one of the most known figures from world history. I was the first to speak. “How did you get here? You have been presumed dead for many years.”

Hitler looked at me almost mournful, eyes drooping. “I never got to tell my story. The world only got to hear from the victors and not from some of us that were in the depths of that ghastly war. The world deserves to know that it was Americans who funded me, who assisted me in the goals that were set forth. The Rothchild’s and Rockefeller’s were critical in my war efforts. I could not have gone as far as I did if it were not for them. Then at the end, they pulled out due to fear of being brought down. At least they made sure that I was able to stage my death in that bunker and escape to Argentina.”

I sat in awe, not believing what I was hearing from the man that would know the best what happened. “Why did you start the war and start executing the Jews? Why were you taking their treasures?

Hitler had a look of disgust on his face when he began to speak. “When Germany was in financial trouble, we needed help. The Jewish bankers and investors helped us out requiring the vast amounts of artwork and other items in our possession as collateral. When they started taking over the country we decided to fight back and to retake what was originally taken from us. When we did, the world turned against us and made us the villains. I am not saying that I did not overstep in some instances, but I did not start the war.”

I sat, by this time with pen and paper, taking notes from this once in a lifetime interview. “Why did you have the concentration camps and the vast number of executions? There were a lot of innocent people that lost their lives.”

Hitler almost teared up before speaking again. “There were many in my military that were violent, that were bloodthirsty. I allowed them to do what they felt was necessary to take our country back. This was supported by those in power in the United States, those really in power that is. Behind the scenes, the Rockefellers and Rothschilds call the shots. They are the ones behind the scenes pulling the strings. When they need a war to benefit their agenda, such as the war with Germany, they finance both sides and fuel the hatred that leads to war.”

Just as I was about to ask another question Hitler disappeared. There were so many more things I wanted to say, to ask. He gave me some things to think about. Maybe there will be a second visit. Only time will tell.

Heartbreak Could Have Been Prevented

James sat in his rocking chair on his front porch stairing off in space, lost in thought. Here he sat, eighty years old and living in the same run-down house that he had lived in for many years. His entire life was spent working for other people, making their dreams come true. Only now did he realize that he was so focused on pleasing everyone else that he never focused on what his dreams were, what his dreams for his family were. The most heartbreaking of all was not having contact with his children as they were just like he was, so busy fulfilling the dreams of corporate America that they were left with no time or drive to focus on themselves, on the things in life that are really important such as family.

Pity Party

When looking at how damaging self-pity can be one can look at the Book of Job. Job has lost everything, or so he had thought. Job remained in a state of misery because he kept cursing himself, cursing the day of his birth rther than calling out to the Father. One may say that the meaning of the first part of Job is more about his fear that is shown through him making offerings out of fear that one of his children may have sinned. This could mean that Job was doubting himself, doubting that everything was right with himself. The moment of growth occurred when Job recognized where he needed to grow and acknowledged the Father. Job advanced his relationship with the Father and advanced from the religious traditions to a more spiritual enlightenment. Pity magnifies what we are going through just as fear magnifies what we are afraid of.

The Dream

What I desire most is to achieve my dream, every level of my dream. My dream is to have both time and financial freedom, to have the home and land that myself and my family need, and to be working from home allowing more time to be spent with my family, quality time. The dream, that will happen, that is already happening, will enable myself and my family to live a life that we dream of, that we are completely happy with. Some may consider dreams just that, dreams rather than the reality that they can be, the reality that they are. I am acknowledging the desire that is in my heart and standing in faith that the desire will be granted, that it is already being manifested.

($)What's Your Favorite Genre?
(offering $ Juice!!!) I'm trying to write a novel for NaNoWriMo. I don't know if I'll get done due to my busy schedule, but I'm gonna try to dive in anyway. The problem is the fact that I have way too many ideas! I don't know which one of my concepts to settle on. There are so many characters that have so much potential in my opinion, and my brain is always so indecisive. Whoever helps to convince me of which genre novel to write will win the challenge (and get some juice as thanks!) You can write a short story, poem, or just discuss the reason why you like the genre you picked. Whichever entry conveys the message best will be chosen winner by me. I appreciate you all and wish you well on your own NaNoWriMo adventures! God bless!

Choosing a Genre

There are so many topics of interest for me. To choose a genre I have to be able to bring it to life in my head. As I am writing I must be able to visualize myself in the story, walking through it, interacting with the characters. I believe that is why when I write the subject matter usually will revolve around science fiction or fantasy. It is also easy for me to write on a topic that I can relate to though experience.

The Loyal Old House

The old house stood strong as it had done for so many years protecting the family that lived within it’s walls. The House had watched the children be born within its walls, watched them grow up, and with great saddness watched them move away. That saddness was nothing compared to the day that the two remaining occupants decided that the house was to large for them, that they needed to sell the house and buy something smaller. The quiet house grieved in silence as it watched the family it had been so loyal to, so protective of, walk out of it’s front door for the last time.
